I did a study of symmetry for this exercise. Uninspired, I used a bottle and some wine glasses. I should have left my construction lines as it looked more interesting with them. I drew too many tangents and used them poorly. For example, there would have been a better suggestion of depth if the wine glasses had overlapped the bottle.

  1. Your right Eduardo, overlapping objects is generally a good ploy, as it breaks up planes and lines. Even lying one of the glasses down in front of the bottle would have given you another set of ellipses to work through
