A Line Drawing of a Painting

The sketch above was a study to translate a painting into a line drawing. I sketched it on 5.5 x 8.5 inch paper. It doesn’t look like the Marat in Jacques-Louis David’s painting, but I’ll worry about his face once I solve all the other problems I encountered.
